Holy Cow, I am a Senior! Not like a 55 year old plus, senior, but a senior in high school.
With that in mind, I just got my senior pictures back.
They weren't as bad as I thought they would be, but, you know they still are the standard senior pictures that ninety-nine percent of the kids at my school will have. I don't want to be like everyone else.
Everyone and their dog have been asking me what I am going to do after high school.
I answer College at UVU (hopefully).
Doing What?
Undecided.
I am so confused because I don't know what I want anymore.
I love Disney and it would be the more logical thing to do, but my heart says "Follow Your Dream."
I am not sure exactly what my dream is. I went through the normal career changes for a child, I was going to be a rockstar, then a professional golfer, then an actor, then a teacher, and now what?
I am lost and I pray that God will help me figure this out soon.
I don't want to be the Junior at UVU (hopefully) who has an undecided major.

You. Me. Disney.
I believe in Magic. Not just any magic, Disney magic.
This past weekend I went to California with my sister Ashlee, my nephew Cade, and my niece Andelin. I was really excited to go for two reasons. One, I was going to Disneyland. Two, I wanted to escape for a while.
I have never really known what I wanted after high school, but I now know that I want to make magic happen for people. I want to work for Disney. I want to make a child smile, I want to make them laugh, I want to hear the sheer excitement in their voices. I want to make magic.
I want to work on films for Disney. I'm thinking I want to produce movies. I love the idea of creating something that could bring someone joy. I love that. I want to be in Florida or California, somewhere away from here.
I know that there is something bigger for me out there than just being a mom, or a teacher. I am meant for something more. I don't exactly know what that is yet, but it has to do with Disney. I can't wait to find out what that is.
When I was in California, we went to the Irvine Spectrum. In that shopping center there was a blind man singing and playing guitar. It was amazing. In that same area there was a woman who was doing palm reading, then there was a little boy who was dancing to the blind mans song. I thought about that moment for a while. I came to this conclusion. They were all people. People with a purpose. Everyone has a purpose here in this world. For some it is to be parents, a spouse, a teacher, a friend, an enemy. These are all people who have an impact on us. That is their purpose.
Disney is my purpose.

It's A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood.
I love the sun. I love the warmth and happiness it gives me. I love life. Life is beautiful. I am enjoying the last week of school, but I am also dreading it. It is a long week. I am excited to move on, but I don't ever want to forget about this year. This year was hard. No doubt about it, but it was also one of the most rewarding years of my life. I have learned several things through this year. I am grateful for that.
I thought I would share with whoever is reading this some of the things that make life great.
1. Family- They are there for you when no one else is. Thanks RKMACCCABGMC.
2. Music- Who doesn't love music? It is a great escape from the stresses of the world.
3. Friends- I have awesome friends. I love them with all my heart. Thanks SNAMEMKCBC. Just to name a few.
4. Modern Family- The gut wrenching laughter of my week.
5. Drama 4 and Musical Theater- THE BEST PEOPLE EVER.
6. Laughter- It truly is the best medicine.
That isn't even the complete list. I am grateful for the wonderful people in my life. I am truly blessed.
Call Me Maybe.

Sunday Funday
I love Sundays. I truly do. Sundays are a day of relaxing, enjoying family, and taking in the beauties of the earth. I personally think Sundays are the days with the best weather. I love going to church, it may sometimes feel so long, but it is just a chance to start again. I love the warmth that Sunday's bring. I never am cold on sundays. I love that I have family around and that we all love each other so much. I love (and hate) being excited for something. It usually takes up all of my thoughts until it is over. I am anxious to start Senior Year, but I really don't want these next couple weeks to go fast. Some of my best friends will be graduating. Don't leave me with the crazies!
I love quiet. I love listening to my dog snore. I love listening to the air blowing throughout the house. I love the sounds of my fingers on the keyboard. I love quiet.
I love my Dad. He is the definition of a gentleman. He is the most remarkable human being I have ever know. He deserves a medal.
This Sunday, be optimistic. It will bring you joy. Appreciate the little things about your day. Tell your family you love them.
Our task is to become our best selves. One of God's greatest gifts to us is the joy of trying again, for no failure ever need be final."
