"BTW your lip gloss is so not glossy anymore!"

DAY 2: Write about your zodiac/horoscope and if you think it fits your personality.

OK?

I am a cancer.

"Cancer horoscope suggests that Cancerians are quick to fall into depression, which may find a momentary outlet with people around them but that is not a permanent state. Cancerians often have a keen sense of humor and can be great entertainers as well.

Lives of Cancerians can be affected by their mood shifts. Though they are not impulsive but they may often suffer from mood swings. They can get angry for no obvious reasons. Hence, Cancerians thrive best around sensible and kind people. "

I agree with this completely. This hits my personality spot on. I am one to get depressed easily and then I am a person to be happy the next day. I am funny, we all know that (don't deny it). I try to be a good entertainer, because I love to entertain.  I am moody though.  I like nice people.

Beware.

I hate challenges.

Jeremy Jordan from Newsies and I
So my friend Connor created a 30 day challenge and told us all to do it. I objected at first but then gave in. Here goes nothing.

DAY 1:

This is me. I love Disney and anything that has to do with it ( with the exception of Tim Burton he freaks me out a little).  I have very strong opinions that I keep to myself. I love Drama and musicals. I LOVE New York and will live there at some point in my life. I love California as well. I am an Aunt to 4 almost 5. I love babysitting, and love to spoil. I am a generous individual and I try to be kind to everyone.

If you need to know more than that you are a stalker or you think I am super attractive. Whichever you prefer.

This is Me

I am not a writer. I can't create a butterfly garden of a picture through words.  I can't write profound thoughts, most of the time,  I don't even get the profound thought until a day later.  I put my thought down and it's a mess. This is today's post. Please Forgive me.

I am obsessed with Theater. From the carpet on the floors, to the emotional purging on stage.

I love New York and Disney.

I love people, but feel awkward ninety-nine percent of the time.

I love my family, but don't stand up for myself around them enough.

I am not a typical teenager girl who flirts 24/7. I still get nervous and sweaty around boys. I do get my nails done, but not for the girl-ish feeling, it is because they make my fingers look smaller. I don't usually watch Chick flicks. I watch movies that will make me think or cry, or laugh at stupid boy movies.

I work at a Golf Course with all boys for crying out loud.

I am Chandler LaRaine. I was named after Chandler Bing from Friends.  My middle name was my grandfathers name.

I am an overweight teenager girl, who wants to be known.

This is who I am, and I am just beginning to be ok with that.

There's Change Coming

Holy Cow, I am a Senior! Not like a 55 year old plus, senior, but a senior in high school.

With that in mind,  I just got my senior pictures back.

They weren't as bad as I thought they would be, but, you know they still are the standard senior pictures that ninety-nine percent of the kids at my school will have.  I don't want to be like everyone else.

Everyone and their dog have been asking me what I am going to do after high school.

I answer College at UVU (hopefully).

Doing What?

Undecided.

I am so confused because I don't know what I want anymore.

I love Disney and it would be the more logical thing to do, but my heart says "Follow Your Dream."

I am not sure exactly what my dream is. I went through the normal career changes for a child, I was going to be a rockstar, then a professional golfer, then an actor, then a teacher, and now what?

I am lost and I pray that God will help me figure this out soon.

I don't want to be the Junior at UVU (hopefully)  who has an undecided major.

PS. I become very popular in the texting world when I am on vacation.

You. Me. Disney.

I believe in Magic. Not just any magic, Disney magic.

This past weekend I went to California with my sister Ashlee, my nephew Cade, and my niece Andelin. I was really excited to go for two reasons. One, I was going to Disneyland. Two, I wanted to escape for a while.

I have never really known what I wanted after high school, but I now know that I want to make magic happen for people. I want to work for Disney.  I want to make a child smile, I want to make them laugh, I want to hear the sheer excitement in their voices. I want to make magic.

I want to work on films for Disney. I'm thinking I want to produce movies. I love the idea of creating something that could bring someone joy. I love that. I want to be in Florida or California, somewhere away from here.

I know that there is something bigger for me out there than just being a mom, or a teacher. I am meant for something more.  I don't exactly know what that is yet, but it has to do with Disney. I can't wait to find out what that is.

When I was in California, we went to the Irvine Spectrum. In that shopping center there was a blind man singing and playing guitar. It was amazing. In that same area there was a woman who was doing palm reading, then there was a little boy who was dancing to the blind mans song. I thought about that moment for a while. I came to this conclusion. They were all people. People with a purpose. Everyone has a purpose here  in this world. For some it is to be parents, a spouse, a teacher, a friend, an enemy. These are all people who have an impact on us. That is their purpose.

Disney is my purpose.

It's A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood.

I love the sun. I love the warmth and happiness it gives me. I love life. Life is beautiful. I am enjoying the last week of school, but I am also dreading it. It is a long week. I am excited to move on, but I don't ever want to forget about this year. This year was hard. No doubt about it, but it was also one of the most rewarding years of my life. I have learned several things through this year. I am grateful for that. I thought I would share with whoever is reading this some of the things that make life great. 1. Family- They are there for you when no one else is. Thanks RKMACCCABGMC. 2. Music- Who doesn't love music? It is a great escape from the stresses of the world. 3. Friends- I have awesome friends. I love them with all my heart. Thanks SNAMEMKCBC. Just to name a few. 4. Modern Family- The gut wrenching laughter of my week. 5. Drama 4 and Musical Theater- THE BEST PEOPLE EVER. 6. Laughter- It truly is the best medicine. That isn't even the complete list. I am grateful for the wonderful people in my life. I am truly blessed. Call Me Maybe. Chandler PS. If you understood that last reference, you win.
